FotoFitFotoFit can import a worksheet directly through a connected Google account. The sheet remains the source of input; FotoFit reads the selected worksheet for the job and validates its rows before generation.
Structure the sheet for predictable output
- Use the first row only for column names.
- Keep one recipient or asset per row.
- Use stable headings such as Name, Course, Issue Date and Email.
- Give image columns accessible HTTPS URLs when using dynamic images.
- Remove merged cells and decorative rows from the data range.

The submitted job uses the imported snapshot so later sheet edits do not silently change a running job.
When CSV is still useful
CSV is better when the data must be archived with an approval, transferred between organisations or generated by a system without Google access. Google Sheets is more convenient when coordinators already maintain the final list collaboratively.
Privacy and access
Connect the minimum Google account required for the workflow. Do not publish private recipient data merely to make a sheet accessible. Revoke the connection when the organisation no longer needs it.
Common questions
Will edits to the sheet change a running job?
No. A submitted job should run against the data imported during setup, not an uncontrolled live edit.
Can different worksheets use the same template?
Yes. Import each worksheet as the data source for its own job and reuse the approved template.
