FotoFitManaged and temporary jobs use the same rendering system for different responsibilities. Managed jobs ask FotoFit to maintain recipient records and credential files. Temporary jobs ask FotoFit to produce a disposable batch for download.
Use managed credentials when
- The recipient needs a durable credential record.
- A QR verification page is required.
- An authorised user may edit and regenerate later.
- The workspace needs issuance history.
- FotoFit is expected to retain the managed credential file.
Use temporary output when
- Another system owns the durable business record.
- The batch only needs to be downloaded once.
- Verification and recipient history are unnecessary.
- You accept the plan-specific expiry window.
What happens to source images
Job-time uploads used for dynamic rendering are cleaned up after the generation lifecycle. A managed record may retain the source URL reference needed to present or regenerate the field; if that URL later fails, the editor can request a replacement upload or URL.
Allowances are deliberately separate
All outputs consume generated-output capacity, while new managed credential issuances also consume the more controlled managed allowance. This prevents durable credential storage from being treated as unlimited temporary rendering.
