FotoFit can deliver eligible managed credential outputs to mapped recipient email addresses when the workspace plan and delivery capability allow it. Delivery uses configured transactional infrastructure; a successful generation does not guarantee that every mailbox will accept the message.
Prepare recipient data
- Use one approved recipient email column and validate obvious formatting errors.
- Collect email only when delivery is part of the stated purpose.
- Keep unrelated contact, student or employee data out of the generation file.
- Use separate jobs when cohorts have different approval or delivery schedules.
Separate generation from delivery status
| State | What it tells you | What it does not prove |
|---|---|---|
| Output completed | FotoFit created the requested file | The recipient mailbox received it |
| Delivery accepted | The configured provider accepted the request | The message reached the inbox or was read |
| Delivery failed | The attempt needs review | The certificate data itself is necessarily wrong |
Use a reviewable send workflow
- 1PreflightReview mappings, format, recipient count and the email column before starting.
- 2GenerateRun an eligible managed job so every delivery is tied to the intended record.
- 3Inspect resultsSeparate rendering failures from delivery failures instead of rerunning everything.
- 4Correct selectivelyFix the relevant record or address and use the supported resend or regeneration path.
- 5Keep an operational recordExport or retain the status needed by your organisation without treating email as permanent archival storage.
Provider and privacy boundaries
FotoFit may use Resend or a configured SMTP provider for recipient delivery. Email systems, recipient addresses and spam filtering can fail outside FotoFit's control. Do not send unsolicited bulk commercial email, and do not include sensitive data in the subject or message when a secure retrieval workflow is more appropriate.
Common questions
Does FotoFit guarantee inbox delivery?
No. The configured provider and recipient mail system can reject, defer or filter a message.
Can temporary output be emailed automatically?
The public workflow promises recipient delivery for eligible managed credential jobs. Use temporary jobs for downloadable disposable batches unless the dashboard explicitly offers another supported delivery action.
Should I rerun the full job when one email fails?
No. Review whether the issue is the address, provider or generated record and use the narrowest supported correction or resend action.
